Kunjithai Sree Bala Subrahmanya Swamy Temple, popularly known as Kunjithai
Kshethram, is a
renowned Hindu temple situated in Kunjithai village near North Paravoor in the Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Nestled gracefully on the banks of the sacred Periyar River, the temple stands as an important spiritual
center for the surrounding coastal and fishing communities, who traditionally depend on fishing for their
livelihood.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Bala Subrahmanya (Palani Murugan), the youthful form of Lord Murugan,
symbolizing strength, wisdom, and divine protection. Devotees from nearby regions visit the temple seeking
blessings for health, prosperity, and success.
Kunjithai Kshethram is administered by Sree Chithira Vaala Samajam, which oversees the
temple’s rituals,
festivals, and social activities. The serene riverside setting, combined with its spiritual atmosphere,
makes the temple a place of peace and devotion.
The temple is especially known for its annual festivals and special poojas, during which the temple becomes
a vibrant center of cultural and religious life in the region.
Without divine guidance, this journey would have remained incomplete. This project is not merely a professional endeavor—it is our dakshina, our offering, our gratitude, and our collective tribute to our revered Gurunath.
The name “Sreebala” is inseparable from this path, for both our lives and this organization have been shaped by the boundless grace of Sree Bala Subrahmanya Swamy. With humility and devotion, every effort we undertake as the Sreebala team is dedicated to service, integrity, and purpose.
- Service to Bharat is my supreme duty.
